We are proud supporters of the Clean Wave Program which helps to clean polluted water, to divert useful fibers from the waste stream, to provide recycling education and create green jobs. We donate our hair clipping waste to be sorted into stockpiles which are then manufactured into felted mats products that soak up petrochemicals in stormdrains, wells, filtration systems, rivers, oceans. Hair can absorb 5-7 times its weight in oil which is why hair is such a great way to assist in oil spills.
